Last Screenie of the Year

Today is the last sunday of the year, so I thought I'd go out with a bang!
Just a few days ago, I found a game on sale on the Holiday Sale in Steam that I knew I wanted, now I had actually promised myself that I wouldn't buy any stupid games, or anything that would be considered an extra expense this month, as I came into less money then usual due to me being home from work for a month.

But when I saw that the game I wanted, that previously had gone from almost 60 euro, now selling for a mere 14,78 euro (now bumped up to 23 euro), I had to have it... so I bought it.
The game is Elderscrolls V: Skyrim, with all the DLC packs; Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn.
And since I bought it, this passed thursday, I have so far played for 35 hours... in 3 days!!! Thats how good this game is! Its beautiful, its emersive, and I could probebly try and get all of you to buy it, but I wont... needles to say, if a guy plays a game for that long, in that short amount of time, and still goes to work I might add... its a good game.

Anyway, this is the "Big Bang Ending" I was talking about... this thing that follows. You see the unique bit about the DLC called Hearthfire is, that you can, unlike earlier, buy a piece of land... and then build your very own house on it!!!
And if you build one large enough, you can hire a steward to take care of it when you aren't around. And ofcourse, your wife/husband can move in too once you get married. And in this DLC, you can also adopt kids, 2 of em only thou, and have them move to your house. I have one "daughter" at the moment, and everytime I get home from adventures, she meets me and talks to me.

But, this is what I wanted to show you... the house. More importaintly... the proccess of building the fucker.

First you need a plot.

Then you build the foundation.

Then its time for the support beams.

Outerwalls come next.

Then it would be nice with a roof right?

Thats better, the new and modern non-leaking roof... with dragon heads on em.

All done.. isn't she lovely? Bit small for my family thou.

Time to expand!

First things first, best put in a door to the main house.

Well, I am a hunter after all.

And so the house was complete... all that was left to do, was decorate it. And let me tell ya.. that is still not done. Now I can give my steward money, and she will run around and do all that for me while I'm away on adventures or something.. but I feel a joy in doing it myself... granted.. the time it takes to find all the iron ores I need, is a real bummer. But hey, I get to go on adventures at the same time, so who am I to complain right?

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Its christmas. And for swedes, that means, meeting the family, relatives, all thou, I wont see my relatives until tomorrow, eat alot of food and open presents. I only have 3 gifts to give this year, one I sent to Gothenburg a few weeks ago, one for my brother and his girl and one for my sisters little daughter, she's what? 6-7 months old? Well its a simple gift, but I think its gonna work.

When I woke up today, the first thing I did, was something very un-christmas-y... I turned on my computer and opened winamp... first song: Marduk - Temple of Decay. Wonder what the first song will be when I get home :P

Well, I hope your christmas will be, or was, good. Lots of laughs, good food and maybe a drink or two.

Survival Extreme

Got bored with normal minecraft... even the normal survival map you can do with the right "seed" code. So I got a map called Skyblocks. You start off on a floating iland where there is nothing below you. the iland is L shaped with 3 layers of dirt on, a tree and a chest with a bucket of lava and a block of ice... My first thought was: How the fuck??

But now...

Night is falling in Skyblocks.

So thats a pic from inside my house, with glass windows, looking out at my creeper trap and "waiting room" that leads to my platform where I am currently growing carrots, pumpkin, sugercanes and melons.

You can clearly see more then one tree aswell... actually, I'm growing 6 trees, soon that will double I think. Right now thou, still waiting for the larger dirt area to turn into grass so pigs and cows will spawn so I can get a different food source... so far.. nothing.

But I did manage to open a portal to the nethers aswell, and thus, got myself an infinite water supply. So no worries there.

In other news, tomorrow I'll be going back to work... for a day, then I got a day off, then back again :)

I think you all know why I'll have a day off... its CHRISTMAS!!! /sigh

Christmas!!!

Its almost Christmas!

Christmas means, stress, meeting family and relatives, eat good food, and perhaps open a gift of two. 

But its the process up to the actual celebration that sucks monkey balls. The runing around buying all that shit! The food, the gifts, the decorations... oh my god, the decorations... I hate that part. I dont mind decorating for christmas, I dont, but some people, and some stores, go that extra mile to realy show they love christmas. 

400 trillion lights, 37 snowmen, 193 santas and never a correct number of reindeers. Not to mention the stores! :P They go even crazier! And they almost always have a tree that is decorated so much, you sometimes wonder if there even is a tree under all the glitter and lights and what not, and ofcourse, a shitload of empty gifts, perfectly wrapped, in lovely red wrapping paper and gold/silver string. 

And then there is the music...

The first few hours... its all good. But after weeks and weeks and weeks of the same damn tunes. You just want to vomit and kill a nun... or something... ;)

I so love it when I get back home and can blast some proper music, like Slayer or Devildriver or Necrophobic or what ever... anything to get those horrible christmas tunes out of my head.

Yea I know, you are gonna hate me for this, but this is what I feel about christmas, I hate it, I could very well do without it.

But.. there is one thing I always long for when these times come knocking... and its the party I talked about in my last entry. The Gingerbread Party. All my beloved friends, good food and building a gingerbreadhouse with usually dark and creepy (and perverted) themes. Nothing better.

Screenie and a Brown Church

We'll do a quick weekly this time, as I have lots of other fun stuff for you to see today.

This screenie was taken just before my warrior finished her main story line, and I got a letter telling me how frustrated my former master was.

The letter it self should tell you just how much fun my story was :)

I think it safe to say... Baras was not happy :)

Okay! Off to funnier stuff. The Gingerbread-cuttle-party's 10th Anniversary!

Last night, was a milestone in our gingerbreadhouse making party we have each year before christmas. This year were set a bit later then usual, but hey, when most people have conflicting scheduals, thats what happens.

It started with decorating the christmas tree.
I was first on scene, and was incharge of putting the lights on. And quickly after, Ullis, the girl you can hardly see, and Mufflon (aka Tomas), were in full swing decorating the rest of it with red glitter and balls... and I do belive atleast 403 testicular jokes were made during the process.

They shortly after recived a hand from a half human, child of one of the other guests, who OBVIOUSLY knew better then they did in decorating a tree with shiny balls, resulting in a much better ball to twig ratio, in other words, many on a few, none on most.

After that, the cooking started to happen for real, potatoes, ham, sausage, meatballs, herring, samon, alcohol (mostly consumed thou) eggs, beetroot salad, vegitarian meatballs, and probebly something else I missed.
And ofc, the ladies were in the kitchen doing all the hard work (Mufflon for the sake of this picture, is also a woman for now) But no worries, the rest of the guys help too, all thou, I do belive I mostly handles the setting of the table.

At the table, there was much merry and cheers, laughters all around, sights and sounds, food, drinks and pictures taken every 30 seconds.
The hostess even got a chance to further make sure that the pig was dead.
And so did I, and Maria, and Johan, and Ullis... and probebly someone else got a chance to increase the deadness of the pig. It was all good and well at the christmas table.

But then, after dinner, the big bake off was being planed, and put into action. I have to admite, I was bad at helping with the actual baking, but I did my best to keep the spirit up, by consuming spirit, and making silly jokes... like always that is.

We came up with a theme for this years gingerbread house making, which were to be a New Orleans cematery... this is the end result.

We had fun, we were drunk, we kissed and we hugged, we laught we ate and we were together. Best night this year... too bad about the snow thou.. it rained that evening, so by the time I got home.. it was all gone.

Here's a bonus for you. You see.. the christmas tree fell over. And as the hostess was about to pick it up, everyone wanted to take pictures of it... I didn't thou. I captured it on video. It was hilarious!!

Midnight Scribbles

So its in the middle of the night, and I'm still not in bed... no worries thou, I soon will be.
Made a few changes to the blog. Can you spot them all? There are 3 changes... Come on, you know this...

Anyway, my über evil Sith Warrior Tena'he, is finally at top level, 55. And I got to say, that the storyline for the sith warrior is awesome, they realy made it stand out to the others, atleast according to me. And the final part, made me laugh for atleast an hour... or well.. laugh off and on for an hour, for thats how long it took me to finish the main story :P

Found a gif a few minutes ago, from the tv show Breaking Bad. I Remember this scene, and its just super. No matter if you like the show or not, seen it or not.. I think you can appreciate the morbid humor of it.
And if you haven't seen it, I advice you to do just that. Every episode is fantastic, sure, like all tv shows, it might take awhile to get into it, but if you just give it a shoot, I think most people would enjoy it.


Anyway... its late, and even thou I dont think I'm all that tierd, I'm still gonna go to bed in hopes that it will work out well and make me sleep for atleast a few hours, or even to lunch time. Crossing fingers and holding thumbs.

Second to Last

We are finally here, to see the screen shot you've all been waiting for so patiently and so eagerly. The image where I show some action from within: Terror From Beyond

Thats the name of the Operation, not the planet... just the Op.

Sad news my friends, Kephess did die after all.

That is the second to to last boss in Terror From Beyond, Kephess The Undying. It was a fun fight, 3 stages of fun infact.
First of all, he needs to be tanked by two people, (in other words, have 2 guys fight over who gets to be hit by Kephess) the first one does so until he has recived a debuff enough, two of em I think, so that he starts glowing, when this happens, the other tank takes over so the first can go into a pool of light to clean that debuff off... all others should stay clear of that pool at all costs thou.
While all this is going on, a laser beam will from time to time pop out of Kephess head and attach itself to a pillar on outskirts of the "arena", and after a few seconds or so, it will be announced that Kephess get angry at a specific player that should then stand between Kephess and said pillar, couse if he is close enough to the pillar, which the tanks should make sure of, he will knock himself out cold, so you can hurt him a bit more.

Wow this got detailed...

Once this ugly fucker is down to about 50% of his initial health, the second stage begins... Yey!
But before it does, he does a little "dance" with red circles on the ground in the middle that you should not stand in, its not nice of you to stand in them, and it will hurt you so bad, that you fall asleep... permanently.

After the little dance thou, he gets into a jumping mood, no idea where that came from, but who am I to argue right? Anyway, a red circle starts randomly following one player for a second or two, and you need to to make damn sure you are not at the location it followed you to when its gone, couse Kephess, well, what did I say earlier? Yea thats it, he lands on your head if you stand there like an idiot. And when he lands, guess what happens kids? Thats right, when an ugly 2000 pound monster jumps higher then a tree and then lands on his feet, you get tremors, and a blue circle lets you know how far away from Kephess landing zone those will hurt. There is some more stuff, but basicly the same as the first stage. Except with nanites.

Well anyway, he does this for a bit until stage three. A stage he goes mental in!! Also called soft enrage. Nothing realy soft about it, couse at 10% of his intial health, he starts shooting missiles out of his freakin head!!! That will lands on variuous locations, and they will oneshot someone like me, so stay alert ,I didn't, so I died. But he also does continues damage to all every second, that none can escape, better pray your healers are on their toes.

Anyway, we killed him, he killed 2 of ours I think, and then we looted and went for the bigger guy... that we failed at :D

Purple Flexing

I finaly know for a fact how long I am on sick leave due to my slip and fractured elbow... a month. A bleeding month? I thought... a month... then I flexed my arm a bit and figured that, yea, a month might be a good idea.

As it stands right now, I have to do a few different exercises four times a day, and one each hour, or when ever I remember it... which so far, is rather often.
One of these exercises I have to do, is getting me to stand with my arm down, but my forearm straight out in a 90 degree angle and then just twist my hand so the palm faces the floor and then the roof... twist it as far as I possibly can. And I can tell you, I did not get very far the first few times... and so far, my palms have yet to face either the floor or the roof. Not to mention the fact that it hurts like a motherfucker!!! And even when I stop twisting and letting the hand return to a more comfortable "location", it still hurts. Its like the muscles or tendons yells at me at the top of their lungs to stop doing that shit... if they had lungs that is... which they dont.

On more cool news (if you are a gamer that is) I joined an Operation in SWToR today... we didn't manage to kill the final boss thou couse people had to go to sleep for you know.. stuff like work or school or what ever. But before I join in on that, I got invited to the guild that was runing it. My brother got me the invite, and then, it became a guild run. Which is always better.

So I poped in on raidcall, a program you use to be able to talk to eachother for better coordinations, fun talk and ofcourse, letting us noobs know what the fuck to do :)

And off we went! To the planet Asation, controled by the Gree nation. But its not the Gree we were fighting.. oh no, it was the Dreadmasters that had taken control over it and unleased a whole slew of nasty stuff, aswell as taking control of the Gree tech and corrupted it... allowing us to get new colors temporarly.
This color change was more importaint then you can think.. couse we had to match the colors, and click some colors and not shoot other colors... or was that the sheild the corrupted IA had I was thinking of... oh well, fun fight thats for sure!

I'll show you a screenie of it on sunday as usual. We'll see what that will be of thou, took quite a few screenies, but not nearly as many as I wanted.. heat of the moment and all that you know.
I did die a few times, but hell, it was my first time around, so none were supriced I think.

First December Screenie

It is the first of december in the year of our lord, 2013... who the lord is thou, I have no idea, I was at work when they picked the new one.
Anywhoooo, since I am still in a cast, the gaming has been slow. But lately, I've been able to play some more, even managed to get two characters in SWToR to complete chapter 2... and you have no idea what I'm on about do you? Well thats okay, you dont have to know.

But I have also been playing alot of Path of Exile. My witch in that game had some issues with a boss, the last one around in chapter one, and I just couldn't get her. Before I could even remove her shields, I had used up a pot of health, no minions left and runing around like a chicken without a head.

That is, until I figured somehting out... she was using frost spells. So I spent a few hours gathering gear, and using magical stuff on em, to get some frost resistance. And when I had 48% resistance to frost... I went back, and I beat the shit out of her!!!

But here is one of me on the far side of that boss... to "prove" I actually managed to get her down.

Raining fire and ice will surely get me popular.

After the boss, I got to a new town, with new npc's and this is taken outside of the new town... where I had a buff that made fire rain down around me to kill the enemy... all the while I am hammering out my frost ring, or what ever it was called, to freeze em in place and shatter them to a million pieces... almost feel evil. But then, as a guy (girl) that summons the undead to do her bidding, I'm gonna go with an evil girl, that does good deeds.

The Journey So Far

Its been 4 days since I got my cast and bandage on my arm. 4 days. Not a long time, I know. But during these 4 days, there are a few things I've learned, discovered and cursed at... and out of shear boredom, I will now share these things with you.

So on friday, I got this at the orthopedics, the backside has the plaster, under the long brown tape runing from my wrist and up, the rest is just bandages. Since it was just a fracture in the freakin elbow, I never needed a full cast, or surgery for that matter. The bones where damaged yes, and a bit broken, but the were in the right place, so no need to put a full cast on. And with just a fracture, I will loss this package on monday afternoon, and hopefully wont need more bandages or plaster. *crossing fingers*

But since my injury, I've had to learn how to do things with just one hand/arm. And the first obsticle I came across, was a simple thing like opening my phone. Now pushing the buttons was nothing, I already do that with one hand, but as its in a case that kind of look like a wallet, I'm used to working with 2 hands to open it. So making my first call after the accident... bit of a challenge to be honest. But to be fair.. I was in a lot of pain then... 2-3 minutes after the fact, was easier after, and even easier after the cast was on.

But lets head to "heavier" things... like putting on a pair of pants. Yea you heard me. PANTS! They are NOT meant for onehanded folk I tell ya. It was way harder then I thought, and even taking em off is a damn workout... well not realy, but still.
And speaking of taking em off. I usually wait a long time with going to the bathroom for "Nr 2", becouse I like the feeling of finally getting to drop that turd when its such a panic that you almost have to clench your buttocks with your hands to keep from shitting your pants.
But now... when I feel that I might need to go.. I GO! Couse pulling down the pants, even the sweatpants I walk around in these days, just takes to fuckin long.

Ofc you know about my gaming deal, so no need to go further into that... Can only work with my fingers, cant bend the wrist... you get the idea.

Lets move on to naked time... ye baby... nudity! Or taking a shower as everyone else calls it. Thats something too that needs time.. not the shower itself, but the damn prep work. You see, I'm not allowed to get the cast wet, since the plaster can be come undone and fall apart. So I have to make sure that doesn't happen... by packing my already packaged arm so its water prof. And let me tell ya... with just one hand, and noone to help you... thats fuckin hard. So water did leak in, but I kind of knew that would happen, so I only took a quick shower the first time... the one I had today thou was longer as I've bought plastic wrap.
But then the next problem comes... the itching. A minute before I was done in the shower, it started... and it took 2 hours to stop.. was driving me fuckin insane... so I might not shower anymore until I stink worse then a bonefire with tires and rotten corpses, surrounded buy 4 week old fruit. Then maybe.

So yea, not a picnic realy... but definitely an interesting experience... cant wait for it to be over thou :P

Limited Gaming

So I fucked up my arm... a fracture in my elbow.
This has severly limited my gaming, to the point that I now play games that allows me to only use a few buttons and the rest is done with the mouse.

So I've been mainly playing Path of Exile and Scarlet Blade. And just for fun, I'll show you a screenie of Scarlet Blade.

Low level Whipper there, pure dps and kind of fun. The game itself is kind of fun, but I think its main idea, is that its "raunchy" and very sexist. And I would agree to a hundred percent to that. The game is very much a guys game... or a "boys" game.

Just look at what my character is wearing for pete's sake!!!

That is not an outfit that is meant to attract female gamers, its meant for male gamers. All thou, I did find a girl gamer in the game... wierd indian goth girl. Atleast I think she was indian.. kind of looked like it.

But yea, a boys game never the less.

Crash!!!

Some of you may know by now... but I'll fill you in incase you dont, as well as give a few more details to those that right now know more then the clueless.

First off; I now know what its like to have only one arm... or close to it anyway. And by that I mean to be forced to use just one arm and its attached hand. And let me tell you... removing or putting on a pair of pants is damn difficult.

So a few hours ago, I was heading into town for a coffeé with a friend, and just before I was about to actually enter the main part of it, I had the misfortune to not use my brain and go way to fast (yet slower then usual) around a corner, downhill, that had new gravel on it, aswell as some cold rain.
My front tire didn't like that, and figured it would be a great idea to go to bed, resulting in me hitting the ground at high speed, and skidding me about 2-3 meters down the road before coming to a halt in a concrete wall.

My first thought was: I hope my phone works. And as I was about to reach for it, I realized that my left arm was hurting and being generally a bitch by not wanting to bend. Or turn. Or allow me to look closer at the wound I am now sporting in my left palm.
Not to mention my favorite pants are now ruined! But I cant realy blame my arm for that :P

So I called my friend and informed him about my accident, then work to tell em they would have to find someone to fill my spot as I had become useless... then I realized that the pain in my arm, and a little in my leg, was so bad I might not be able to walk home on my own, so I also called my half dad and asked if he could leave work for 30 minutes to help me home. He did, we love him.

So now I am home... and I'm still uselss.

Also... need to go to the store to fill up on some essentials.

Fuck...

Unlimited POWA!!

I am still playing Star Wars The Old Republic... I am that boring... but I find it fun. So there.
And this time around, I will share a sweet shot taken from inside the hardmode version of The Black Talon, and its optional boss fight, when I am releasing a torrent of purple lighting in the giant droids face!

When playing, I normally look from behind the character.. but even thou that is also cool.. its almost better to see it from this angle, from the front. But if I were to look at myself like that all the time, I would do a very poor job at killing enemies, since I cant see what I'm shooting at, who we are suppose to attack, and might just draw some "aggro" and get my ass killed. But when its just one guy, a big ass boss... its okay to turn the camera around and sit in awe of your own awesomeness. :)

But the last 3 days thou, I've been playing a Jedi... imagen that, a good guy. On the republic side... where they are pussies and never harm a fly unless the fly tries to kill you. On the empire side, you kill people just for breathing to loudly in a concert hall where a death metal band plays and trying to make everyone deaf.

Smooth Weekend

If you look long enough on the interwebs, you'll eventually come across some gifs, and a few of these gifs, flow so perfectly and smooth, that you cant help but be mesmorized by them.

Now then...

The week is over, and the weekend is now taking hold of us all. Mine will be of dogs, relatives and ofc, gaming. But we start with laundry... which I am currently doing. Always nice to have clean cloths, and now that the temperature is going slowly down (still above freezing thou), the newly washed cloths usually have an added bonus... they are warm :)

Later today, I'll be visiting a buddy to say hi to a new dog they are taking care of... some kind of small rat like thing. Atleast thats the impression I've gotten so far. Remains to be seen if the dog likes me... but then... so far, almost all dogs seem to love me, which is annoying since I'm also allergic to them :P

Tomorrow, there is a party at my aunts place. She has a birthday. No idea what age she'll be then, but lets pretend its 28... might make her happy, or atleast give a smile :P ... All thou, I think perhaps 38 would be better... as a 28 year old, you are still too much of a kid. What ever.
I'm sure the party will be good, less so if my sister shows up, but hey, nothing is ever perfect right?

Sunday, will be a slackers day, gaming and posting a screenie... so until then...
