Working Screenie

I've been trying a game for a few days, that makes you work a real, existing job. But virtually.
Euro Truck Simulator 2. I am, in the game, a truck driver, that in the begining, get employed as a driver and then ship stuff across various countries, currently, only England and a bit of Netherlands and once I even drove to Brussels. But its mostly England, as I picked London as my starting point.
I earn money for driving stuff to and from locations, and my employer pays my bills, except if I damage the cargo or truck, that comes out of my own pocket. And if I am caught speeding, I paid that shit too.

After I either have driven enough, or take a bank loan, I can buy my own truck, and then be hired as a company instead of just a driver, and then I can start hiring other drivers and then the show really gets on the road... sort of. I haven't gotten that far yet thou.

But all and all, this is what the game mostly looks like.

Because I'm in England, I naturally sit on the right side. Sometimes, I got to have the whipers on if it's raining, headlights on if it's night and use my turn signals so idiot drivers dont drive into me or I into them.
Other then that, its just making sure I follow the gps, and either get there in time, or with an undamaged cargo to get the most money out of the job.
The screen shot is an early one, I have made more money then what you can see on the gps by now, but still not enough to buy my own "rig". And I want to be able to buy one without taking a bank loan :P

Anyway, thats what I mostly play right now :P
When I'm not working.. I'm working :D

Reports Of The Day

My hat... almost.

There is a big city party going on right now in my little shithole of a town. Live music, some bad, some good. Stands that sell anything from jewelry and silly hats (bought a silly hat too just for fun) to phone accessories and waffles. Even political parties have tents and shit up, granted, its one of those years, so i guess they kind of have to show that they exist or what ever, and then there are several tents and stand where TV companies, mobile companies and the likes have set up shop.

Yea I dont know either...

Only reason I was in town to begin with, was to get my niece a birthday gift. She turns 1 this week, and her mother, my sister, has a kind of open house tomorrow.
But what the hell do you really get a 1 year old? A bike? Laptop? Makeup kit? What ever is the new thing, I got her a little cuddly bear that is sporting blue pants, super cute and not nearly as pricey as a laptop :P

Anyway, as we were in town, me and my brother that is, we took a tour of the stands and checked out a band, but as this is a shitty summer so far, it started raining. We got wet, and moved on home, but not before I stopped by a video store and bought the movie Oldboy, the american version, not the korean, but its just as good actually, slightly different ending, but just as good.
Then off we went, and got some chinese takeaway and watch the movie with his dad. Good food, good movie, not a bad day considering the rain.

So now I'm wondering why I haven't gone to bed yet...

Pierced Undeath

Was down a crypt in Skyrim just, and I do belive I managed to do something new.

I pierced this undead's ear so hard.. he died!!!

Have removed my ENB mod, the one called Sharpshooter, couse it kept my game to lagg in various locations, and when I wanted to try and sneak a shot at some "poor unsuspecting bandit", the smallest twig or leaf that was in my way, got all the focus, and I could barely see what I tried to shoot at.

Might try a different ENB later on... but not until I've gotten a better graphics card, which might take a while.

Anyway, nothing realy new, if its news you are after, read the previous post... again... nothing new on it, but its still news.. I suppose.

Painful Beauty

I am in pain.
Yesterday, the pain was worse then today.
The day before that, even worse.
So today, its not that bad.
I even managed to get out of bed without any larger issues.

And I am... LOVIN IT!!!

Started a new workout routine at the gym on monday, some of you might have heard of this by now, as well as seen me post on facebook that I had lifted, shifted and pushed around 10 000 kilos in two hours.
Well, that number really doesn't say much now does it? Same with the friday number; 6017 kilos. Doesn't say much does it?
So lets break it down, first thou, when I had worked with 10 tons, it was leg/back day, and the legs are freakishly strong, and the 6000 number, was arms and chest, not near as strong as the legs.
To further break down the numbers, you have to also keep in mind, that each excercise I do, is made three times, with varying amounts of weights.
Like this one; Barbell Triceps Extension.
It starts with, for me at least, just the barbell, that weighs 12 kilos, and then I work that one 15 times, bending it from up right, then down to my head and then back up. 15 times... always slow too, its sweaty work.
Then I added small black things on it, to increase the total weight to 14,5 kilos, and did another 12 repetitions, I tried to make it to 15, but, I couldn't.
And then it is time for the final repetition, the third. So I go up to 17 kilos, so another set of small round and black things to make it so. I managed another 12 on that weight.
I felt proud of my achievement. It felt good.
So just taking that excercise, I lifted a total of 554 kilos in one sitting. And after a total of 13 different excercises, I had lifted a total of 6017 kilos. And to even further break it down, a few of the things I did, had no weights, like the 30 minute warm up that consisted of walking in a brisk pace, uphill or the cooldown walk for 5 minutes. So not every excercise gives numbers other then time numbers, and naturally, isn't done with 3 repetitions.

Anyway... after the first leg/back day, I had difficulties even walking right, took a few steps to get into a normal walk, on the thrusday, I even had difficulties standing up when getting out of bed!!
Its fantastic, I love it.
Only kind of pain you want, look forward to and feel proud when it happens.

ENB Screenie

ENB? What the hell is that?? What trickery is he up to this time? you may wonder. Well ENB is a name for a different kind of "view" you can have in a game. Don't know what it actually stands for, I looked, but couldn't find anything.

But what it does, is taking a game, like Skyrim, GTA, Mass Effect, Resident Evil and other games, and changing the way they look.
Not changing the basic components, like switching cool cars to crappy cars, or weapons from modern to flintlock or anything like that, but the pure look, too make the world look better, more real, or cartoon-ish or like an oil painting.
The kind of ENB I got, is called Sharpshooter ENB Classic, cause I dont think my computer can handle much more awesome versions, like the popular Real Vision ENB, that one is just too awesome and heavy.
The only thing that the new ENB had worse then the resolution mod I had installed before, is that the water now looks worse, but I'll fix that later.

Here's a screenie of a fallen tree, to help you see what this ENB does.

As you can see, the tree is mostly in focus, but everything around, is out of focus. This is the essence of Sharpshooter ENB. Only what you look at, is in focus, just as in real life. Everything else is a slight blur.

As you can see, from my old version, to my new, the water looks worse, but I think, that over all, the world looks better.

Nerd News

So the courts have finally said, that having a computer, is no longer equal to having a TV.
All of last year, anyone with a computer that could connect to the internet, in other words every damn computer in the country, including tablets and smart phones, would have to pay the licence for TV.
But the courts have now said, that this is stupid, well maybe they used different words, but still. They said, that even thou a computer CAN connect to the internet, and thus, gain access to TV programs and even streamed TV, it wasn't meant for that, and thus, should not be included in the licence.

I dont know about you, but I found this to be good news, specially, since I only watch TV at work.

So what else is new? Well, I bought and ate my first box of strawberries of the year yesterday. It was good. I also installed Warhammer Dawn of War 2 again, cause I was bored, so you might get to see a screenie of that on sunday, who knows.

Speaking of games thou, GTA V will come out on PC finally. September 17 I belive the official date is. And I for one, cant wait. It looks awesome, but it might be a bit heavy for my computer, might have to save up some cash and get a better graphics card at the very least.
The other games I want, might also need a better graphics card, but I think they'll run just fine on what I have. Remains to be seen I guess.

Creepy Snow

My new monster mod sometimes scares the shit out of me. Seriously scare me.
Especialy when I'm out in the world, minding my own shit, mining some iron node, turn around and then BAAM!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!

Seriously... what kind of nightmareish drugs where the creator of this mod on when he made that?? Demonic LSD? Satan's own cocaine? Whatever he was on... it sure scared my pants off :P

Nothing new has really happened otherwise in the world of my gaming, its still Skyrim, as you can see, and so far, the only other game I want to play, isn't out yet, and I dont want to buy the pre-launch, as its still in BETA testing. And then there is another game I also want, but that one, you cant even get "early access" too. Might as well be so, let me save some money first :P

But as soon as I have em, you'll know.

Serious Saves

Just made my 1000nd save in Skyrim!!
Hurray!!
Or something. I know you guys probably dont care one bit about that.. but for me, its a rather big thing. I've never played a single player game this much before.
The only other games I've played more of, is World of Warcraft, 7 years, and Diablo 2 on Battle.net, 2 years. But both those games, are online. Granted, Diablo 2 is a single player game, that has online functions, but Skyrim, doesn't have any of that. So its a single player game only.
And who would have guessed I would clock in 550 hours of game play and 1000 saves? I didn't... I did NOT see that coming. Specially from a game I first tried and didn't like.. then tried it again, and freakin loved it! :P

This image, was taken just a few seconds before I made my 1000 save. These two creatures, do not normally exist in the normal world of Skyrim, they come from a monster mod I have. One of them, the green one, is a deadra monster, and the brown one that is also on fire, is a cyclops.
When I came in to the cave, I found em doing battle. The deadra lost, and to avange his death... I killed the cyclops. All thou, if the cyclops had lost ,I would have "avanged" him too :P

Twins by the Door

Meet a pair of twins by the Jarls door in Dragonsreach. Did not see that coming. Do like their outfits thou :P

Been runing around alot latetly, doing the usual stuff, but with the new monster mod I have, I get to fight some increasingly diffficult, wildly different and awesome enemies.
Today for example, I found 3 Balrog's roaming around some hotsprings. They did not go down easy, and when pounding me with their swords that was buring, the whole ground shook, just like when giants hammer down on you. It was an awesome fight, and I almost died a few times. Good thing I had a good supply of health potions.
I no longer have a good supply of health potions.

Later, while runing up a hill to get to my quest objective, the world got Angry Matrix on me.

Some of my mods makes the world sometimes go mental, this was one of those times... it didn't help that I was also attacked by an angry Saber Cat... no worries thou, I got him, even managed to find him and get his hide and an eye, but still... was the longest fight I've ever had with a kitty.

And for the keen eyed readers, yes, that thing in the corner, is also a new mod, giving me knowledge at all time what time of day it is, and if it actually is day.. or night.
The first screen shot, tells us, that the sun had just gone down, and the second, that it was almost midnight.
Dont try and figure out what day it is thou, couse I have no idea how to read those things.
Midas? Loredas? Monday? Loreday? What ever... its awesome.
