This one how ever, does not contain any vampires. Instead, she is now reinventing the myth and lore of the werewolf.

I do belive, that Anne Rice has written her best book yet. I will always love her vampire chronicles, I will always love Lestat, Marius and so many other of her vampires. But this is something new, and written with such a passion, that NOT reading it, was at times painful (not realy but I think you get the idea).
I can say nothing else, but if you can, read it. I doubt you will regret it. I just hope she wrights more of Rueben and his new wolf friends and their adventures.
On a side note: I still have issues with my internet, just trying to load up some images takes fuckin forever. I wonder what those tech supporters are doing? Drinking beer all day then forget about the customers?
Anyway...
Forging the Pact
At Trahearne´s request, I meet him in Concordia to discuss the Pact´s campaign into Orr to confront Zhaitan.
We meet with high ranking members of the orders of Tyria, and at the meeting, it was confirmed that Trahearne were to lead us, with a rank of Marshal, and that I would be his second in command with the rank of Commander.

POW! Right in the kisser! |
As we were speaking of the upcoming battles, we were interupted by a scribe of the Priory that came into the camp. Mortally wounded he was able to tell us of a dire situation not far from our location.
A band of Pact soldiers had been trapped in some ruins that were being searched for ancient dwarven knowledge, and according to the scribe, they had found an old tome which could contain what we might need. But as they found it, the undead of Zhaitan came. Now, they need our help to get out.
We found all the soldiers and scribes alive, but before we could get out, a wraith named Dzhudin Stormbreak appeared with some massive abominations.
There is no doubt in my mind any more, that the Pact does not contain some of the finest warriors Tyria can have. For any other soldier would most likely not have survived the encounter.
The Pact's campaign plans are braod and complicated, so Trahearne asked me t o make sure a key element of that campaign is ready for the rigors of war.
