New Screenie Heat

So I got some good news for you... I signed, today, a contract to my second job!!! Yey for me!
I dont realy see it as a job yet, not until I've done the introduction first, only then will I see it as an actualy job... but I still wont be satisfied until I have set work hours. For now, its just gonna be a job I get called in on when someone gets sick.

On a different topic, the previous blog entry I started a weekly Guld Wars 2 screen shot thing, and I like this idea.. alot. So I might do it more then just a weekly thing. I'm thinking something along the lines of twise a week, every thursday and sunday perhaps? Sundays are a given, perfect day, but thursday? We'll see.
Until then I'll give you a cutout of a screen shot I did earlier today.

Always nice to get mail from the people you help.. even when they cant wright worth a damn.

Still haven't gotten my ass out of the wagon yet to get a new cpu fan thou. So my cpu heat is still way to high.
I am hoping I'll take care of that soon, so I can start to breath in a slightly calmer state afterwards.
I also think that my cpu didn't like it when I tried to record in GW2... now that proved to be rather pointless anyway as I lagged pretty hard during the filming, and even the end result was laggy. But when ever I get the heat down, I might be able to do something about that issue too.
Here's to hoping for the best.

Weekly GW2 Screen Shot Week 1

So a friend of mine suggested that I do something like a weekly screen shot thing for the blog after I showed him a great vista from Guild wars 2.
I should mention that I do not run this game at maximum graphic settings.

Sacred Jumping Mail

Just remembered something I wanted to share... something that is related to.. you guessed it, Guild Wars 2.

Just a few things that makes me laugh.

In MMO games, you can recive mail, both from other players, and npc's (non-playing characters, in other words, computer characters). Normally you would have to visit a mailbox in order to get them, or you can just open what ever mail you get from where ever you are, like in GW2. But its the way you are informed that you have gotten mail that is so awesome.
As soon as a mail has arrived, you can see, very quickly I might add, a white bird (probebly a pigeon) fly down towards your head and then swoop up and fly away.
Thats how you get mail.
The funny thing is, that you are not the only one that can see it... everyone else can too. And you can see when others get mail... couse you see that bird all of the sudden swoop down from the skies to the players head and then wisp away.
I love that... makes it so much more fun to get mail, knowing a bird just delivered it to you :)

Captain?

I did a "jumping puzzle" on sunday night that was quite fun too.. hard, but fun. Now, a jumping puzzle is basicly what it sounds like. In order to solve the puzzle and get the "phat loot", you have to jump around to various points, if you miss, you usually have to start from scratch, can be annoying as hell if you are having difficulties with a section of the puzzle, like one in Sylvari lands that had you pushed of ledges and what not by wind that was hard to predict.
But this one reminded me of a movie... The Goonies. When they find the pirate ship towards the end. Even had the dead captain in the room with the chest of loot in it. Loved it.

At one place, in Norn country, I found a "heart" quest that had me scare rabbits towards Sacred Owls... so the owls could eat the rabbits.
Laughed my ass off.

I also did another heart quest that had me answer a bunch of questions.

Lets see if you know this one, its not hard, and it was even easier for me as I got to choose between three answers.

"I come from all who grow, crawl, and walk. I am the perfect hunter. In the end, I am the victor. What is my name?"

Chicken Blade!

Been busy playing GW2... so thats one reason I haven't written anything for a bit.
Was also busy doing my fiancée this weekend... another good reason to not wright blog entries ;)

Speaking of this weekend. I cought a movie on tv, late at night, that I haven't seen in a long time. Billy Elliot ... and I have to admite, that the first time I saw that movie... I cried. And it is definitely in the top 10 movies of all time (according to me atleast).
Not that I have an official top 10 list of my favorite movies... But its up there, competing with movies like Braveheart, Fight Club, The Crow, The Shawshank Redemption and so on and so on.

My stout norn warrior Garm has made it to the 40's, actually, last I played him, he was 49 :) And he looks good too.
All that golden armour, I've bought. The giant sword on his back thou I made myself. I'll get you a better look on that later.

Come a bit on his personal story, and as I progressed, I made the choise of joining the Vigil. Basicly an army of warriors and soldiers. I thought that was fitting for a norn with a big ass blade.

Death, awesome and Garm

Just saw that a great actor of hollywood has passed away... not fun. Michael Clarke Duncan was a very funny and large man that made almost all movies he was in better by default. My personal choice of greatest MCD movie, has to be The Green Mile.

Also found this little thing in more hollywood related things, about Keanu Reeves, 7 true stories about him. Goddamn, that man is a saint and just a whole heap of better person then I will ever be, and I hope he lives to be a hundred... or more... unless his bike riding kicks him to the grave a bit earlier ofcourse.

The GW2 Necromancer has been put on the shelf... no, I am NOT bored with the game, I just picked up a warrior instead, same race thou.. I immediately fell in love with the Norn race... my little steroid vikings.
This time around thou, I made a him, as in, a male, with a hugh facial tattoo covering half his face with blue color from his nose down, even half his ears are covered, looks freakin awesome!!!

And since I figured out how to work with the crafting, I am now ahead with both armorsmithing and weaponsmithing on this Norn Warrior called Garm Greysteel.

Pooping Necrons!!

Sunday evening... just got home from mom's new place and I was definitly over dressed for the ride to and from... goddamn I was pouring sweat from all corners of my popsicle-shaped body.
Had to poop something aweful too when I got home... good thing I live alone, couse I would't recommend anyone to enter that room, for the next 2-3 hours :P

In GW2 news, its fun.

Need more you say? Sure why not. Its so fun I actually forget to jerk of at night... too much info? Got it.

Fun fact thou.. I just figured out the whole crafting system. Took me almost a week, but fuck, some things takes time.

Day One!!!

Day one of Guild Wars 2 is here. Bought the game, got it installed, got the account made, all went without a hitch.

I created a Norn Necromancer, female... reason to a female choise? The males didn't have good beards :P
I know its silly to not create a male just becouse of that, but considering how the Norn look, like giant vikings on steroids, I want them to have awesome beards. Like full beards with braides and shit. But nope, just some minor beards with said braids.

Anyway, I got to around lvl 6ish, I think, and then the game told me they were going to restart the game for a minor update.. so I thought, great, I'll take that time to go get my package from the post office that contained more RAM's, which is now installed, so I now have 8gb of ram instead of the low 4.

But after that... it sucked.

Seemed as thou they have some issues with the loggin on the european servers... so no more gaming for a bit. Gonna try again every 15 minutes or so.

One last thing... the game is fun. But I have virtually no idea what I am doing :P
